So now onto this week's wallpaper submission:

Last Saturday, the family took a trip to The Huntington. It's acres of botanical gardens along with a library that houses a research library (rare books, photos, maps) and art collections. I've had the pleasure of visiting a couple of times but this visit was for my Dad's birthday. Since he and his garden are the reason for my flower obsession (the man has the greenest of thumbs), the acres of beautiful sights made for a perfect place to unwind and celebrate.

This picture was one I took as I was leaving. It's a simple wall of green leaves but with a couple of edits I was able to make it a little more special. Originally, the image had a lot more sunlight. In Lightroom, I gave it a darker edit, something where the leaves wouldn't obstruct any of the banner items or clock. Next was Photoshop, where I added a layer of a teal gradient and just tweaked that until I was happy. I've noticed i take this just-mix-in-everything-until-you-like approach for most edits. But it works!

 Hope you all enjoy.
