I expected March's playlist to be a challenge because ninety-five percent of my music listening was divided between The Beauty and the Beast soundtrack and Ed Sheeran's latest. Of course, that would've been a bit boring (for you guys), I compromised and included two songs from Ed Sheeran's and moved on. Strength.
There's very few who haven't heard of Ed Sheeran. The guy makes you feel for relationships that you didn't even have. His latest (Divide) includes a song about his grandmother that can melt any icebox. It was added immediately to the playlist. It became one of my favorites.
The other songs were found by launching Spotify Radio from other playlists. A great way to find similar songs that you would've never come across otherwise. It's a feature I'm slowly getting in the habit of utilizing.
This month's cover is from a favorite a cappella group: Pentatonix. It's a cover of John Lennon's 'Imagine'. They have a distinct sound that makes it easy to recognize their songs but that's not a bad thing. They all bring different elements and create wonderful pieces whilst still keeping the original songs mood.
I hope you all enjoy.
