Recently, I had an iPhone 6 Plus that I didn't feel needed extreme protection. That all changed once I realized the destructive power of a 3 year old child. One shattered iPhone 6 Plus screen later and I was making an insurance claim. I wasn't going to leave my iPhone unprotected this time around. An Otterbox Defender seemed like an obvious choice but after much deliberation, I opted to spend the additional $40 and get the Lifeproof. As it turns out, the case is everything it claims to be. Months later and I'm still impressed. I've since sold the iPhone in anticipation of the new 6s Plus coming next week and the Lifeproof case included was enough of a selling point to sell the phone at a great price for both me and the buyer. I'm not convinced that the current lineup of 6 series cases will work with the 6s lineup but if you are holding out another year and skipping this iPhone cycle, this case will be sure to keep your current iPhone in good selling condition until the "7" series arrives.
