This week my "i-Like" (pick of the week) was the latest and greatest player to enter the streaming music service game. That's right! It's Apple Music.

Now if you were to take a look at my Twitter timeline, you would see a mixed bag of emotions in response to this evolutionary service from Apple. But for my needs, Apple Music is everything I thought it would be. I'm not saying there hasn't been any hiccups. Apple is developing quite a reputation lately for delivering products and services that seem unfinished and untested. Perhaps, this can be put into one or both of those categories. Even as an Apple fanboy, I can admit that it hasn't been all peaches lately for my favorite brand. But once again, for my needs, Apple Music is great.

I have always subscribed to streaming music services as a way to "try before I buy". I am one of those crazy characters who prefers ownership of my music collection. What Apple Music does, is gives me a beautiful application that easily allows me to trial music in the same place my owned music already resides. I wish there was an easy way for me to see what is mine and what is "borrowed" but I have found a workaround for that.

I just find that the curation is on point with my tastes. The icing on the cake is that it's living in harmony with my already vast library of collected music and it's all available to me instantly on my favorite mobile device.

iOS users can enjoy 3 free months of Apple Music. Using it already? What are your thoughts?
