Less then a week away from WWDC, Apple & Samsung are in talks, iWork for iCloud gets and update, some news on the iMessage bug and more....

Apple in talks with Samsung to settle future patent disputes

This news was reported a few days after Apple and Google announced they were working n a way to end patent disputes. 

Things should come to an end during the summer. Apple doesn’t have an endgame strategy. Its agreement with Google shows that its management is looking for a face-saving exit strategy from Steve Jobs’ thermonuclear ambitions - Florian Mueller FOSS Patents

There was a crazy amount of time and money spent between Apple & Samsung. If the two do finally agree, Apple would then be able to focus on other projects.

Apple expands in store iPad trade in program overseas

People in the UK, Spain, France & Germany can now take advantage of Apple's in store trade in program. The program is extremely convenient for users wanting to upgrade to the newest iPad.

iWork for iCloud gets a boost

Apple has expanded iWork for iCloud's capabilities; improved collaboration, new document options, and increased file storage. Up to 100 people can now work on a document and file sizes have now increases to 1GB, up from the previous 200MB limit.

Seems like they are trying hard to compete with Google and their cloud apps.

WWDC app gets updated for 2014

The WWDC app is now designed to be more like iOS 7. The app includes the WWDC schedule, a map lay out, videos and more.

Confirmed: WWDC Keynote set for 10am PST on June 2, 2014

Apple confirmed the Keynote at Moscone West. Tim Cook will certainly be on stage, Eddy Cue, Phil Schiller and Craig Federighi will most likely be on stage as well. I wonder if we will see Angela or Dr. Dre....

Apple fixes part of iMessage bug, working on the other

In a statement given to re/code, Apple said they fixed a server side bug that was causing issues for some iMessage users and there is an iOS fix in the works:

We recently fixed a server-side iMessage bug which was causing an issue for some users, and we have an additional bug fix in a future software update.  For users still experiencing an issue, please contact AppleCare

The best solution, don't leave iPhone.  :)
